Submission to Department of Health and Aged Care on Aged Care Rules Release 4b

AHPA comments to the Department of Health and Aged Care on the draft Aged Care Rules that mainly pertain to eligibility, classification, prioritisation and place allocation.

We remain concerned that despite recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, fundamental flaws in the structure of the aged care system that is being implemented are likely to result in many older people not receiving the allied health services they need to live as good a life as possible.
