Allied health pricing in Support at Home should be based on client-attributable time

AHPA has produced a brief on pricing of aged care services under the Support at Home program.

AHPA is deeply concerned about the potential for allied health workforce failure in Support at Home if the proposed approach to billable time being only face to face time with the client proceeds.

AHPA has requested an urgent meeting with the Department of Disability, Health and Ageing to discuss these concerns and outline our proposed changes to avoid such unintended consequences.
