ABOUT AHPA - WHAT DO WE DO?

Strategic Leadership

As the peak national allied health organisation, AHPA has an important strategic leadership role. It is the body that the Federal Government and other national bodies turn to when it seeks the collective views of allied health.

Representation

AHPA has representation on many national committees and consultative groups, covering an increasingly wide range of issues.

Lobbying

AHPA provides a national voice for allied health on lobbying issues.

Networking and information sharing

AHPA provides an important forum for the member professions to exchange information, work together and provide considered viewpoints on health issues in Australia.
