AHPA has been funded to undertake three projects since 2007.
Indigenous Allied Health Network
This project concluded in June 2009. A new Indigenous allied health association was established as a direct result of this project.

Shared Care in Chronic Disease Management
This project aims to improve outcomes for people with chronic and complex conditions by:
- Improve collaboration between allied health professionals and general practitioners in chronic disease management.
- Strengthen working partnerships between allied health professionals and general practice.
- Improve client outcomes in relation to chronic disease management via mutual understanding of roles.

Helping Children with Autism
AHPA has been funded to produce a series of resources for consumers and health professionals under the Australian Government’s Helping Children with Autism package.
